  It's the best place for tacos in Cedar. Their al pastor tacos are my favorite. They have lots of choices you can't find anywhere else in town. The restaurant is always clean and he staff always is very helpful. I'll definitely be back.

  Chips were fresh and salsa good.  Chicken tortilla and meatball soup was good.  We ordered the Carnitas and it was very dry and seemed very old.  The beans and rice were extremely bland.  Our waitress was pleasant.

  Not my top choice for Mexican. I could get the same or better quality from Taco Bell. Went in for dinner and got a combination plate with a chicken burrito and shredded beef taco. Wouldn't get the taco again - the meat was dry and the taco was mostly filled with lettuce. The burrito was better, but I could get a higher quality one from Costa Vida or Cafe Rio for less...
  Service was okay. However, we did end up having to go look for our hostess/server so we could pay - she seemed to have forgot about us even though we were one of only 2 tables in the restaurant...

  Second Update: I continue to received private passive aggressive messages from James. Management if you wish to discuss my review please contact me through the oficial La Botana account and please inform your cashier that it's extremely inappropriate to contact me directly.
  
  Update: Today I received a private passive aggressive message from James J.C the cashier defending his actions. He created an account just so that he could contact me and speak his mind. He sarcastically offered to buy me a large Chamango  and Corn in the cup, he made sure I knew they were going to be both large. He doesn't understand that this reviews are to make people aware of unfair practices, bad customer service and or bad quality of food, NOT TO GET FREE FOOD. I refused their refund offer from La Botana and of course this last sarcastic offer from James.
  
  I stand by my review of horrible customer service at La Botana and todays message from James probes just that. Management please make sure to tell your staff that they can't harass the customers that leave bad reviews from their private accounts. James let management take care of this.

  First time I went I was a bit skeptical, but my family all wanted to go so we went. The food was exceptionally excecellent, the service was prompt as well as very intimate (I think its run by a family). They were all friendly. The chef/dad(?) even came out to say hi to my kids and gave them a little piece of chocolate. My kids enjoyed that! Our overall experience was beyond five star! Thank you so much!
  P.S. Try the horchata!!! It's amazing!!
